Ang BTS ang bagong ambassadors ng Smart Communications Inc.
Kaya naman literal na sabog ang social media kahapon matapos i-announce na ang Grammy-nominated music act ang mangunguna sa kanilang campaign na Live Smarter, Live with Purpose.
Bilang newest ambassadors ng Smart, mapapanood ang BTS sa world class ad campaign ng Smart na nakatakdang i-release sa first quarter of 2021 ng Smart.
Layunin ng partnership na ipakita ang suporta ng BTS sa goal nila na ma-inspire ang Filipino youth to live their lives with passion and purpose.
“Aside from their remarkable talent, BTS emerged as the biggest band in the world because of their meaningful and uplifting music that brings hope and encouragement to fans especially in the bleakest of times. It is therefore a big honor to welcome BTS to the Smart family so we may inspire more Filipinos to find purpose in everything they do and ultimately live Smarter for a Better World,” pahayag ni Mr. Alfredo S. Panlilio, Smart President and CEO.

Pinag-usapan din kahapon ang hirit ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque sa choosy statement ni Vice Ganda tungkol sa bakuna last week.
Kahapon sa kanyang press briefing ay sinabi ni Sec. Roque na mali namang ikumpara sa sabong panlaba ang vaccine sa COVID-19. Hirit ni Sec. Roque : “Alam n’yo po,mali naman na ikukumpara yung bakuna sa sabon na panlaba. Eh kung hindi naman natin pagtitiwalaan ang mga expert na tatlong batche ng experts pa ang magsasabing puwede natin gamitin ‘yan at magiging basehan para mag-issue ng EUA. Eh sino ang ating paniniwalaan? Siguro po hindi naman komedyante.”
A week ago nang mag-viral ang tweet ni Vice na “Sa sabong panlaba nga choosy tayo e sa bakuna pa kaya. Ano to basta may maisaksak lang?! Vaklang twoooaahhh!!!”
Nauna nang sinabi ni Sec. Roque na “Totoo po, mayroon tayong lahat na karapatan para sa mabuting kalusugan pero hindi naman po pupuwede na pihikan dahil napakaraming Pilipino na dapat turukan.
“Wala pong pilian, wala kasing pilitan. Pero magsa-sign ka ng waiver na hindi ka nagpaturok at kapag ikaw ay mayroong prayoridad, siyempre mawawala ang prayoridad mo, sasama ka doon sa the rest ng taumbayan na naghihintay ng bakuna.”
