Miggy stagfest set at Pasay today (Sabong News)
MANILA, Philippines — The main event of Pasay City Cockpit’s sabong festival unwraps today, via the Miggy Big Event 6-Stag Derby, featuring morethan 100 fights.
The three-day PCC blockbuster started last Monday via the MAD Sa Pasay 5-Stag Derby with 60 fights followed by the Encuentro Big Event 6-Stag Derby yesterday (144 matches).
Today’s event, presented by host Michael Tiqui of Bulacan and backed by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000, will be a showdown between Central Luzon and Metro Manila’s big time cockers. The list includes Patrick Antonio, Juan Miguel Ignacio, Charlie “Atong” Ang, Gerry Ramos, Mayor Nene Aguilar, Cholo Violago, Bulljack Fortaleza and Jepoy group, Arman Santos, Jojo Cruz, Rodolfo Pineda, Sandy Palito, Lito Orillaza, Mayor Henry Villarica and Nestor Mercado. No less than P1 million and a special trophy awaits the champion.
Meanwhile, the Sandy Palito Big Event 6-Stag Derby comes next at PCC on Nov. 25 and the Digmaan National 11-Stag Derby (3-stag elims) on Nov. 28.
