Police officer nabbed in electronic sabong hub (Sabong News)
Lt. John Kevin Menes of PNP Drug Enforcement Group-Special Operations of the Police Regional Office-Calabarzon has been caught playing online cockfight betting (e-sabong) in Sta. Mesa, Manila. Philippine National Police Chief Dionardo Carlos has ordered Menes’ immediate dismissal from service. Carlos said the officer’s engaging in gambling constitutes grave misconduct, which is ground for dismissal from service. The police officer, however, will be given due process.
