A lone bettor who purchased a Super Lotto 6/49 ticket at an outlet in Pasay City won over P70 million during Tuesday’s draw, May 10, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) General Manager Royina-Marzan Garma announced.
Garma said the winning combination of Super Lotto was 44-05-17-48-13-43.
According to the agency, the winner won a total of P71,360,581, but it will be subjected to a 20 percent tax as mandated by the TRAIN Law.
The government will get over P14 million from the jackpot or exactly P14,272, 116.2.
The lone winner, after the 20-percent tax was deducted, will take home P57,088,464.8.
To claim his/her prize, Garma said the bettor must go to PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City, and present two identification cards (IDs). As such, the bettor should also bring the winning ticket.
The PCSO reminded that the prize must be claimed within a year or else it will be forfeited by the government.
