Let's wait for poll results, says Lacson after getting 2 percent in Pulse survey (Sabong News)

Independent presidential candidate Senator Panfilo Lacson on Tuesday, May 3, shrugged off the results of the latest Pulse Asia pre-election survey which showed him in 5th place in the 10-man presidential race.
‘’Instead of speculating, it is best for me to just wait for the May 9 election results which is not too long a wait after all,’’ Lacson said.
‘’Aside from the constant 2 percent survey results that they’ve been giving me for the past few months, now it is zero scores in both Visayas and Mindanao,’’ he noted.
‘’That being said, I call on all my active and silent supporters and those who truly believe in good, honest governance to go out on May 9 and cast their votes as it is the ultimate show of support that matters to Filipinos of the present and future generations,’’ he said.
The latest Pulse Asia survey figures showed former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr., leading with 56 percent, followed by Vice President Leni Robredo with 23 percent. Senator Emmanuel Pacquiao had 7 percent while Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso had 4 percent. Lacson had 2 percent.
