Brace yourselves. POCO has recently announced some really cool stuff.
First, the POCO F4 GT, a flagship phone, which the company points out has “apex performance.” As it should be because under the hood is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, an AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 120W HyperCharge.
The POCO F4 GT features magnetic pop-up triggers – buttons on one side of the phone, so if you hold it sideways, as you would while playing a game, your index fingers would be resting and ready to push those buttons. Like a gamepad controller. I haven’t tried this myself and would love to check them out personally.
To maintain temperature, POCO boasts LiquidCool Technology 3.0. I had to search what this actually meant and found
So, basically, two vapor chambers are used separately to control heat, copper blocks are used instead of silicon grease – which POCO says is much more efficient against heat, and to keep the antenna cool POCO used white graphene.
To top things off, POCO has also announced the POCO Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition. So if you love the gacha game, then this is a quick way for you to show how much of a fan you are. POCO claims the Buds features an AI self-adaptive noise cancellation and a 28-hour battery life. Yes, sounds good while commuting as we (sadly) return to offices.
To complete the ecosystem, POCO introduces the POCO Watch. The company says there are more than 100 fitness modes for you to choose from. It has a heart-rate tracker and a 14-day battery life. POCO even added that this Watch was “designed for fitness lovers who care about their personal health and well-being.” Which to me sounds like every single one of us.
“We are thrilled to unveil POCO F4 GT today. With such an uncompromising user experience at a surprisingly affordable price, we believe that POCO F4 GT will be the daily essential for all young tech enthusiasts, especially gamers,” said Angus Ng, head of product marketing at POCO Global. “We are also very excited to launch POCO’s first expansion of its lineup of AIoT products starting with POCO Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition and POCO Watch. It is always our top priority to fulfill different consumers’ needs by expanding into different product offerings.”
The POCO F4 GT will be available on May 13, with a starting price of P27,590. That would be for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The one with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is set at P30,990.
