Robredo to continue ‘fight for better PH' regardless of May poll results (Sabong News)

Whether or not she wins in next month’s presidential elections, Vice President Leni Robredo is sure she will continue to fight for the Filipinos’ “aspirations.”
With only 13 days left to May 9, the Vice President said that every second counts in trying to reach and invite voters to join her cause.
“Alam naman natin (We know that) at the end of the day, basta ginawa natin ‘yung lahat na gusto nating gawin, talagang nasa Diyos ‘yung pagpapasya kung saan tayo patutungo (as long as we did what we want to do, it’s really up to the Lord to decide where to take us),” Robredo told the attendees of the virtual “Dasal Bayan: An Interfaith Prayer Gathering For Leni And Kiko.”
“Pero (But) what ever the results of the elections is, hindi naman natatapos ‘yung laban (the fight does not end),” she added.
If given the chance to lead some 110 million Filipinos in the next six years, Robredo said she needed them “to continue fighting for what we think is right.”
Robredo and her running mate Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan will need the people to be involved in shaping the policies and implementing them.
“Kailangan namin na punahin nila kami pag kami nagkakamali para nakakabalik ulit kami doon sa tamang daan (We need you to call our attention when we make mistakes so we can go back to the right path),” the Vice President added.
But if their efforts to campaign over the past three months failed, Robredo said that they will still need the people “to fight alongside us” to continue to fight for the dreams of every Filipino.
The aspiring president also took the time to thank her supporters and volunteers who have been “working so hard in this campaign.”
Recognizing how ordinary Filipinos fuel the campaign, Robredo boosted their morale by inviting them to “volt in” for the country.
The lone female presidential candidate is set to attend the “Republika 2.0: Tindig ng Bulakenyo” at the Malolos Sports Complex in Malolos City, Bulacan on Wednesday, April 27.
