Korean fugitive nabbed in Angeles City (Sabong News)

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – A Korean national wanted in his country was arrested by authorities during a manhunt operation in Angeles City on Monday afternoon, April 18.
Heejun Yang, 40, who was staying at Widus Hotel, Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, was arrested by joint elements of Bureau of Immigration Fugitive Search Unit (lead unit) and Police Station 4 by virtue of Interpol Red Notice for Special Larceny, Destruction and Damage of Property.
Yang was brought to Police Station 4 of Angeles City Police Office for initial documentation before he was turned over to the personnel of Bureau of Immigration for proper disposition.
“May this send a strong message to all those who continue to evade the law,” said Police Regional Office-3 Regional Director Brigadier General Matthew Baccay.
“Regardless of who you are, Central Luzon is not a sanctuary for fugitives and lawless elements,” added Baccay.
