Suspected MILF member, 2 others arrested in Taguig (Sabong News)

A suspected member of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and two others were arrested by the police during a buy-bust operation in Taguig on April 17.
Southern Police District (SPD) director Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg identified the suspects as Sashed Upam, 52, an alleged member of MILF; Imbra Dunding, 38, vendor; and Christian Anito, 21, student.
The three suspects were arrested by the Taguig police’s Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), Station Intelligence Section, SWAT and Sub-station 7 during a buy-bust operation along Jacinto Street, Barangay Upper Bicutan, Taguig.
Seized from the operation were four plastic sachets containing suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) weighing 41 grams with a value of P278,800, P1,000 buy-bust money, P29,000 boodle money, one .38-caliber revolver loaded with three live ammunition, one .45-caliber pistol with three live ammunition, one magazine and an MILF membership card.
Suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
Additional charges will be filed against Dunding and Upam for violation of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) and Omnibus Election Code.
The pieces of evidence were turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit for chemical analysis and ballistics examination.
