Netizens expressed hope that model-vlogger Trina Candaza and actor Carlo Aquino, former boyfriend and father of her child, will reunite.
But Trina reiterated that it’s not that easy.
Trina made the commebt when an Instagram user commented in one of her posts: “Sana mag kaayos na kayo ni kuya carlo alam ko mahal niyo pa isat isa pag subok lang yan malalagpasan niyo rin para kay baby kalimutan ng past at magsimula uli.”
Trina replied: “Mahirap na po magkabalikan lalo na kung yung mga taong nakapaligid support sa pagiging single ng tao na para bang walang batang nawalan ng buong pamilya.”
A few days ago, Carlo confirmed that he and Trina are no longer an item.
According to him, they parted ways only this year.
Though he didn’t share details about the breakup, the 36-year-old former child star maintained that they’re “civil” and in a co-parenting setup.
“Nag-uusap kami and every once in a while nahihiram ko si Mithi (their daughter) pero siyempre dahil nga pandemic pa din yung safety muna niya. Kapag may trabaho ako, katulad nito – lumalabas ako – mag aantay ako ng ilang days,” he said.
Recall that rumors about things not going well between the two started circulating January. At that time, many netizens noticed that the two unfollowed each other’s social media accounts.
Adding fuel to the fire was their respective cryptic posts.
It also didn’t help that Trina made public her moving out of Carlo’s place, along with their one-year-old baby girl.
A few weeks later, Trina shared a glimpse of the setup with Carlo.
It was in 2020 when Carlo and Trina welcomed their first child.
