‘Bus Ni Isko’ caravan kicks off 20-day journey with Manila-Paranaque-Muntinlupa run (Sabong News)

The “Bus Ni Isko” campaign initiative started with its Metro Manila leg on Tuesday, April 5.
The first bus trip started at the Felix Huertas Street corner Blumentritt in Manila, and proceeded to Barangay San Dionisio in Parañaque City, before visiting Muntinlupa Public Market.
“Bus ni Isko” is a 20-day road campaign initiative where youth volunteers will travel across the country’s region to convince young Filipino voters to shift votes to Domagoso.
The bus campaign is also aimed to symbolize Domagoso’s journey starting from him being a waste scavenger to pedicab driver then actor and politician.
Carl Danielle Labro, a member of the Isko Tayo Kabataan and Alliance of Isko Movement, said the journey aims to court the youth voters, which numbers are very important this coming election.
Among the activities during the bus visits were T-shirt printing, film showing, and distribution of campaign materials, he said.
“The journey of the bus in this Bus Ni Isko initiative is like the life story of Isko Moreno, who had a humble beginning in the city of Manila. The bus will kick off in Manila and will travel to Visayas and Mindanao—like what Isko is doing now,” he said.
“He started in serving Manila, now he wants to serve the whole nation,” Labro said.
The group said it decided to support Domagoso because of his platform of government, highlighting the programs in Manila as well as his efforts to help Manileños during the pandemic.
“Isko Moreno’s capabilities are really shining during times of adversities like the pandemic, and this is what our country needs to help our countrymen recover from mounting problems brought about by COVID-19,” it stated.
The Manila mayor has been repeatedly saying he decided to run for the highest position in the county to offer what they have done in the city that are duplicable and scalable.
