Re-electionist Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano continues to be the preferred choice for mayor by voters in the city, according to a survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations Inc. (SWS) on Feb.19 to 22.
The survey results indicated that 83 percent preferred Rubiano over Edward Togonon (eight percent), and former City Councilor Richard Advincula (seven percent).
The mayor’s unwavering service to her constituents over the past three years made her the preferred choice of voters who want her to continue her brand of service.
The lady mayor has been actively implementing her programs on healthcare and housing; education, economic growth and environment; livelihood and lifestyle; and peace and order during her term.
In that same poll, 77 percent of voters said they will choose Ding Del Rosario for vice mayor. Former city administrator of then Mayor Wenceslao “Peewee” Trinidad and running mate of Advincula, Atty. Tina Bernabe-Carvajal got 13 percent.
Similarly, 87 percent of voters will go for incumbent Congressman Tony Calixto.
“Team Calixto” received a warm welcome from their supporters during their motorcade on Saturday (April 2).
