Rain did not dampen the spirits of the supporters of presidential candidate and Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso during his campaign rally in Cagayan de Oro on Monday, March 28.
“Wala akong mahugot na salita sa sobrang pasalamat ko sa inyo at sakripisyo ninyo ngayong gabi (I don’t have a word to describe how grateful I am for your sacrifices tonight),” Domagoso emotionally said as he stepped out into the rain.
He promised the Mindanaoans a good government, assuring he will not forget and abandon them for trusting him.
(Through God’s mercy and with your help, I will repay your sacrifices with good government. It feels good to be loved by you, Mindanao),” he said.
Domagoso said this was the first time he had seen such a crowd that stayed for him despite the heavy rains.
“Grabe kayo. Please bring home with you my sincere gratitude),” he said.
(In my entire life, 24 years, I have never experienced a rally without the people leaving. I will never forget you. This is very historic. I really love you Mindanao!)” Domagoso said.
