Street sweeper hurt in QC LPG explosion (Sabong News)

A street sweeper was hurt when a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tank exploded inside a restaurant in Barangay Vasra, Quezon City on Monday, March 28.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Quezon City Fire District said that the victim, Sophia Rafa, 47, from Barangay Culiat, Quezon City, sustained first degree burns on the right side of her face.
Rafa was sweeping in front of the restaurant when the explosion happened. Fire razed the establishment for half an hour.
The BFP Public Information Office said that the fire was raised to first alarm at around 4:32 a.m. and was declared under control at around 4:56 p.m. It was extinguished around 5:14.
Arson probers are still establishing the estimated damage caused by the fire and the cause of the explosion.
The victim declined medical attention and was still able to clear the debris in front of the establishment, the BFP said.
