The debate may still be raging about whether Pampanga is the food capital of the Philippines, and if
dishes are the best our country can offer visitors. I’m certain my friends from Iloilo will have strong views on the matter. But if there’s something we can all agree on, it’s that any reason to celebrate excellent regional fare is always worth its weight in gold.

It’s a food festival featuring Pampanga’s finest homegrown chefs and culinary curators. The highlights of this festival will certainly be Chef Howard Dizon’s Filipino dishes and the pastries and cakes of Chef Judy Uson. Then there’s Chef Pons Garcia’s Kapampangan specialties, and the native menu of Chef Cherry Passion-Tan. Together, these four will be an enviable collective to discover and sample.
Apart from these chefs, a wide and carefully selected group of food concessionaires will be offering their wares to make this a true Pampanga gourmet gathering in an alfresco setting.
Rockwell Land is happy to be the venue for this gathering, as it makes its entry into the Central Luzon region through Rockwell Center Nepo Angeles. Spread across 4.5 hectares, the development is set to have three mid-rise residential buildings. The first, The Manansala, is set for turnover in 2025, and it’s here at Rockwell Center Nepo that the first Power Plant Mall outside Metro Manila will rise, too!
