Team Sara to tweak campaign strategy despite big survey lead (Sabong News)

Despite having a comfortable lead in a recent survey, vice presidential candidate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte said her team will tweak its campaign strategy starting next month.
Duterte, a member of the UniTeam, made this revelation on Thursday, March 24–a day before the start of campaign period for local officials.
“Sa side po ng team namin meron pong desisyon na mag-change po ng strategy ng pangangampanya pagdating po ng April (From our team’s side, there is a decision to change the campaign strategy by April),” she told reporters on the campaign trail in Laguna.
“So ito po yung third phase na ng aming pangngampanya (This is the third phase of our campaign). It will be equal parts, online campaigning and face-to-face,” the lady official said. She didn’t elaborate further.
April is the last full month that candidates of national posts have for campaign sorties before the conduct of the May 9, 2022 polls. National candidates began their campaign on Feb. 8.
Duterte, the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) chairperson, has consistently led popularity surveys among vice presidential aspirants.
The results of a Pulse Asia survey carried out from Feb. 18 to 23 showed that Duterte had a nationwide voter preference rate of 53 percent.
