2018 Miss Universe Catriona Gray is all excited to start her new project, this time as the main host for “Top Class: The Rise to P-Pop Stardom,” a P-Pop reality show competition. Her contract signing event was witnessed by members of the press at the Cornerstone Entertainment’s studio.
Catriona said that Filipinos are indeed world-class. “It’s about time for us to shine further in the international scene and be on top of the game. I love to be part of journeys of people pursuing their dreams, and it’s one of the firsts of its kind here in the Philippines.”
“Top Class” is the product of a game-changing partnership among entertainment giants Kumu, Cignal Entertainment, TV5, and Cornerstone Entertainment.

A new-girl group is set to take on the world of Philippine pop music with the launch of “G22” composed of four young, beautiful, individually unique, and very talented ladies, namely: AJ (leader/main rapper), Jaz (main vocal), Bianca (main dancer/sub-rapper), and Alfea (visual/lead vocal).
As the leader of G22, AJ shares that she is excited that the group will finally be able to showcase their talents and what they’ve been working on to the world. She also mentions that working with the group has been an experience she won’t trade for anything else because meeting people with the same drive, passion, wavelength, and goal, is a rarity and blessing. Each girl may have their own unique personality, forte, and background, but as a united squad with a common goal, they can create something much bigger than themselves that could positively impact and change the P-Pop landscape in the near future.

With the alert levels going down, and the entertainment industry starting to warm up with upcoming projects, new partnerships have been sealed between Kumu and Cornerstone Entertainment. Jeffrey Vadillo revealed the company’s future plans in the ever-changing entertainment landscape. “Coming from a talent management perspective, we’ve handled a lot of some of the country’s biggest stars. And, through this show, we aim to get to create you know, the future of P-pop icons. That’s the goal. With proper training and with the experience that we have in terms of like discovering talents and honing and training them, we feel that we have a good chance of really raising up the future of P-POP through this show.”
