A Filipino transgender woman who dressed up beauty queens and movie stars got married to a Canadian power engineer during a simple ceremony held in Trese Martirez, Cavite last Wednesday, March 9.
Angela Taloza Krause, 27, of Cagayan Valley, exchanged I do’s with Jarrett Krause, 37, power engineer and a business manager of a water specialty store and services, in a simple ceremony officiated by the MMC Metropolitan Community Church.
The newlyweds are expected to migrate to Canada where Angela will also meet the son of her husband. She also said that they will also get married in Canada.
“Jarrett is very family-oriented. Yan ang nagustuhan ko sa kanya. Marami akong natutunan sa kanya kasi very matured,” she said also.
Angela and Jarrett have known for three years prior to their marriage. She also said that Jarrett knew from the start that his future wife is a transgender woman.
“Nung nanligaw siya alam niya agad na ganito ako kais very open ako sa lahat ng tao na nami-meet ko. Mahal daw ako n Jarrett dahil family-oriented person daw ako and tutoo sa sarili,” Angela added.
Angela vows to be a faithful to her husband. “Mamahalin ko siya ng higit pa sa buhay ko.”
