Sometime ago, Honest Actress (HA) voiced her disapproval the moment she saw the initial cast. HA said that she was uncomfortable with working with Female Talent (FT). When the production team asked the reason, HA said she had a bad experience with FT not once, but several times. Allegedly, HA was ignored by FT when she was on the rise to gaining a reputation. At that time, HA was already established and shown respect by other younger talents. HA has been in the business long enough, which makes not knowing her inexcusable.
Thus, HA was slighted when all other talents greeted her, except for FT. No smile or friendly gesture came from FT, who was busy with her phone. In another instance, HA and FT found themselves together in the network’s premises and riding the lift. When they reached a certain floor, FT jostled to go ahead of everyone exiting. The production assistant of FT apologized to the other passengers, as the talent was recognized and late for a meeting. Consequently, HA vowed never to work with FT whom she had observed to lack basic courtesy.
Thus, when HA saw the project would include FT, she gave an ultimatum. HA emphasized she loved the material, but the production should choose between her and FT. HA had the advantage. Subsequently, the production informed FT she was out of the project without saying the reason that HA does not want to work with her. Nonetheless, FT was assured of being cast in another project.

These days, a celebrity/endorser ties up his/her reputation to the product or service he/she is promoting. Thus, when something goes wrong or the results are undesirable, the celebrity/endorser is dragged into the controversy. Only when an apology or a disclaimer is posted will the celebrity/endorser be cleared.
Sadly, ordinary citizens who have placed their trust in a service because of the celebrity/endorser can end up as victims when the availed product or service falls short of expectations.
Sometime ago, Non-showbiz clients (NS) decided to avail of the services of Celebrity Entrepreneur (CE). They placed their money as sort of an investment for acquiring skills that would give them an advantage in the workforce. Then the pandemic hit. Businesses shut down and CE’s was not spared. However, the services were left partially fulfilled and NS requested for a refund as the payment was already made in full.
As months passed, NS tried to contact CE’s office. The results were futile, as the office allegedly did not even bother to reply. Consequently, NS waited and hoped CE’s team would do other means, such as going online, to fulfill its contract. It did not. NS has given up on following up.
